Brought to you today by a 12-hour cross-country drive followed by a few hours in a room full of crazy (in a fun way) relatives.
But my mom did tell the whole family that the only person there allowed to touch my newly-showing baby belly is her. Thank goodness! I was preparing myself for lots of touching.
We're in Kansas City for my grandma's funeral, which is tomorrow. My cousin said how we're all feeling best: We're all incredibly sad for the reason we were all brought together, but so excited to have these days together because we always have a ton of fun. Tomorrow will be hard, but I'm glad I came.

That was the general feeling when we went to Florida for Tim's grandma's funeral a little over a year ago -- we were all sad because of why we were there, but we were also really happy to see one another and spend some quality time together.
If you want to drive ANOTHER 12 hours -- this time straight West -- you could come visit me. I know you're dying to spend more time in the car, right?
Hope you have a good time reconnecting with your family and remembering your grandmother. And glad that all the other relatives are keeping their belly-patting hands to themselves!
